Simple Four Ingredient Blueberry Smoothie

July 25, 2019 by Lottie

I am really excited about ARC new teeth whitening kit which uses blue LED Light that is specifically engineered to target stains and weaken their chemical bonds.

I was one of the first people to test out the treatment and it worked beautifully! Best part is that it’s over-the-counter. You can pick one up in Target today!

The new ARC blue light teeth whitening kit inspired this Simple Blueberry Smoothie! It’s seasonal, refreshing and blue 😀 I am always looking for different combinations when it comes to smoothies. My main goal is to keep it simple and to use ingredients that I always have on hand. Blueberries are a summer staple and when I have extras or they start to turn, I can always throw them into the freezer for smoothies. Frozen or fresh bananas give this smoothie a really nice creamy texture and – let’s be honest – with smoothies it all comes down to good consistency.

The almond butter adds a rich nutty flavor as well as protein and fat to make this smoothie more of a complete meal/snack. Almond milk, berries, banana, almond butter + dash cinnamon – that’s all! And the simplicity of it makes it taste even better. This smoothie will be sure to make you smile – and you can show off those newly whitened teeth!

– but of course use a metal straw!

Recipe

  • 1 cup unsweetened nut milk
  • 1 banana frozen or fresh
  • ½ cup blueberries frozen or fresh
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • dash cinnamon

Directions

Blend everything in a blender until completely smooth. Once blended, top with some of your favorite toppings  like almond butter, nuts or fruit! and enjoy!
